2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using LexiLegend ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

3. Age Requirements and Parental Consent

LexiLegend is a word puzzle game designed for all ages, including children. The following rules apply based on age:

  • Children under 13 (USA — COPPA): Use of the App by children under 13 requires verifiable parental or guardian consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately at publisher@kod73.se and we will delete the information promptly.
  • Children under 13 (EU — GDPR): In the European Union, children under 13 require parental consent for the processing of personal data. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without such consent.
  • Users aged 13–17: Use of the App is permitted with parental awareness and consent where required by local law.

We do not show personalised or behavioural advertising to users who are identified or reasonably believed to be under 13. Advertising served to these users is non-personalised and child-directed in accordance with applicable law and platform policies.

4. Description of Service

LexiLegend is a free-to-play word puzzle game available on iOS and Android. The App includes optional in-app purchases and non-personalised advertising. A one-time ad-free purchase is available to remove all advertising.

5. Privacy and Data

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the GDPR and other applicable laws. By using the App you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

Under GDPR, EU residents have the right to access, correct, delete, and port their personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at publisher@kod73.se.

6. User Accounts

You may create an account using Google Play Games or Apple Game Center. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your account with others or use another person's account. Account creation for children under 13 requires parental consent as described in Section 3.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to exploit, hack, or reverse-engineer the App
  • Use offensive or inappropriate display names or avatars
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other players
  • Use automated tools, bots, or cheats
  • Interfere with the operation of the App or its servers

8. In-App Purchases

LexiLegend offers optional in-app purchases including coin packs and a one-time ad-free pass. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

EU consumers: Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from digital purchases. However, by starting the download or use of digital content immediately after purchase, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. This does not affect any rights you may have under applicable mandatory consumer protection law.

For purchases processed through Apple or Google, refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google respectively in accordance with their refund policies.

9. Subscriptions

If the App offers any auto-renewing subscription products, the following applies:

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions can be managed and cancelled in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
  • No refund is given for the unused portion of an active subscription period.

10. Virtual Currency

In-game coins ("CO") are virtual currency with no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for real currency. We reserve the right to modify the pricing and availability of virtual items. Loss of virtual currency due to account termination for breach of these Terms does not entitle you to any refund.

11. Advertising

The App displays advertisements provided by third-party networks, including Google AdMob. Advertising shown to users identified as or reasonably believed to be under 13 is configured as child-directed and non-personalised in accordance with COPPA and Google Play Families policies. You can remove all advertising through a one-time in-app purchase.

12. Intellectual Property

All content in LexiLegend, including but not limited to graphics, audio, text, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

15. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through Settings → Account Settings → Delete Account in the App. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by posting the updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the new Terms, you must stop using the App.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
